The services we provide are essential for our dwindling Koala population and your contribution has many rewards. Only you and our community can help save Koalas and the native wildlife. Collectively we can all make a difference.
Why your participation is important:
- Human population growth produces an influx of cars and other inherent dangers to koalas and wildlife.
- As part of the community, you are our eyes and ears to identify sick or injured Koalas and wildlife.
- Koalas that have visited one of the wildlife hospitals are insert with a microchip, (an identifying ear tag), which is vital to give us valuable information about their population and movements.
- Your support is greatly needed, and even if you cannot be actively involved, your donations and membership means more opportunities to apply for grants and be the voice for our endangered Koalas.
Populations have declined by a staggering 42% in the past 20 years and the koala is at serious risk of becoming extinct in both NSW and Queensland. We must act to protect them now, or they could disappear in a matter of decades.
