This is photographer Roland’s favourite spot in Whites Hill to photograph koalas as the trees are slightly lower than the ridge making it easier to get at their level. There are often mums with joeys too which he says is always a joy to see. (Whites Hill Reserve)

All proceeds from the sale of these prints will go towards our local Brisbane koala rescue and koala rehabilitation services. Funds will be used to build a fence around a eucalypt plantation at Queensland Koala Society’s site at Chandler to create a mini koala kindy and enable joey koalas to learn to climb prior to being released to the wild.
